Role Description The Security Professional is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater George Town, responsible for safeguarding Jabil’s people, assets, and information. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining physical security systems, overseeing access control, and coordinating incident response for security events. The role also involves supporting cybersecurity and information security initiatives, collaborating with IT and operations teams to ensure network and data protection, and assisting with security audits and compliance activities. The Security Professional will prepare reports, maintain security documentation, and communicate security procedures and updates to relevant stakeholders. This position requires close coordination with cross-functional teams and adherence to Jabil’s global security standards and policies.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security to support the protection of systems, data, and intellectual property.
  • Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Network Security to help secure infrastructure, monitor threats, and support incident response.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Physical Security to manage access control, surveillance, facility protection, and emergency procedures.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare reports, and deliver security guidance and training.
  • Relevant experience in corporate or industrial security, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Knowledge of security standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices (e.g., ISO, NIST, or similar frameworks).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and risk awareness.
  • Ability to work on-site in Greater George Town and respond promptly to security incidents and operational needs.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent are an advantage.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred.
