Job Summary
The Finance Executive will support the day-to-day finance, payroll, administrative, and HR documentation requirements of Sunrise Wines & Spirits Sdn. Bhd., our logistics-focused sister company.
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate transaction records, processing payments and claims, supporting payroll preparation, and ensuring that logistics-related financial documents are properly recorded and filed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monthly payroll preparation, including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and leave records.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation, including employment letters, confirmation letters, and other staff-related documents.
- Record and monitor logistics-related transactions, including transportation charges, delivery expenses, fuel, tolls, vehicle costs, and warehouse expenses.
- Process invoices, payment requests, petty cash transactions, staff claims, and reimbursements.
- Verify that all claims and expenses are supported by the necessary receipts, invoices, and approvals.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist with bank reconciliation, payment preparation, and cash-flow monitoring.
- Organise and maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payroll records, claims, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with the Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, and HR teams to resolve documentation or transaction discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing, audits, and preparation of financial reports when required.
- Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounts, payroll, administration, or logistics support.
- Familiarity with payroll processing, petty cash, claims, invoicing, and basic accounting procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with accounting or payroll software would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of Malaysian statutory payroll requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB, is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle confidential employee and financial information.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively across different departments.
