Production Scheduling
Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
Coordinate with different departments (Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, QA, Production) to ensure timely availability of materials and capacity.
Material Planning & Inventory Control
Ensure all raw materials, components, and tools are available on time to meet production needs.
Work closely with store/logistics teams to monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking, including periodic hands-on stock checks in the warehouse.
Order Tracking & Status Updates
Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion of production jobs.
Update stakeholders on production progress and address any delays or issues.
Support the production floor directly when needed — for example, assisting runners with moving materials to the production line — to help keep schedules on track.
Communication & Coordination
Act as the liaison between various teams: production floor, quality, logistics, and customer service.
Resolve conflicts in schedules, material constraints, or unexpected machine downtime.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of production plans, work orders, and changes.
Generate reports for management on production output, efficiency, and delivery performance.
Continuous Improvement
Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and suggest improvements to planning or production flow.
Work closely with engineers and supervisors to implement process improvements.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in production planning or manufacturing coordination, ideally in electro-plating
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP/MRP systems.
Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with a hands-on role that combines desk-based planning with physical time on the warehouse and production floor.
Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and commit to daily overtime as required to meet production demands.
