Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA across our manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, procurement, warehouse, sales, and finance functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions that support business transformation and operational excellence.

This role requires strong experience in manufacturing and distribution environments, with proven success leading full-cycle SAP implementations and business process transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead the entire SAP implementation lifecycle from project initiation through post-go-live support.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure project objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed quality standards.
  • Establish governance structures and project management methodologies.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and steering committee meetings.

Business Process Transformation

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and optimize end-to-end processes.
  • Drive process improvements across:
  • Manufacturing Operations
  • Production Planning
  • Inventory Management
  • Warehousing
  • Procurement
  • Distribution and Logistics
  • Sales Order Management
  • Finance and Costing
  • Ensure SAP solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users, management, and implementation partners.
  • Manage expectations of senior leadership and project sponsors.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and decisions regularly.

Vendor and Partner Management

Manage relationships with SAP implementation partners and third-party vendors.

Review and approve deliverables from external consultants.

Ensure contractual commitments and service levels are achieved.

Monitor consulting budgets and project costs.

Data Migration & Integration

  • Lead data cleansing, validation, and migration activities.

Ensure successful migration of:

Customer Master Data

Vendor Master Data

Material Master Data

BOMs

Routings

Inventory Data

Financial Data

Testing & Quality Assurance

Develop testing strategies and plans.

Oversee:

Unit Testing

System Integration Testing (SIT)

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Performance Testing

  • Ensure resolution of critical defects before go-live.

Change Management & Training

Develop organizational change management plans.

Drive user adoption and business readiness.

Coordinate end-user training programs.

Create SOPs and user guides.

Go-Live & Hypercare

Lead cutover planning and execution.

Coordinate go-live support activities.

Manage stabilization and hypercare periods.

Ensure smooth transition to support and operations teams.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Finance, or related discipline.

MBA is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of SAP project experience.

Proven experience leading at least 2 full SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA implementations.

Strong background in manufacturing and distribution industries.
