Job Description

Responsibilities

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible to ensure day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and checking all accounting related entries submitted by stakeholders are accurate in the system.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

  • AP Trade Purchase & Return
  • Check Slip tally with Invoice or Credit Note and ensure all submitted documents are in order.
  • AP Non-Trade Invoice
  • Recording of Operating Expenses, CAPEX and Rental Invoice.
  • Check Slip tally with Invoice and ensure all submitted documents are in order.
  • Create slip for Store Rental with Invoice.
  • Payments
  • Prepare Payment Bi-Weekly.
  • Check Invoice on due date before payment, transfer AR Invoice to AP for offsetting for Trade Suppliers.
  • Company Corporate Card
  • Prepare Slip for Company Corporate Cards.
  • Check all receipts against Statement & record GST accordingly.
  • Custom Permit
  • Prepare Slip for Duty & Taxes declare on Monthly Sales Reporting/Damage amount paid.
  • Schedule
  • AP Ageing Report, Vendor Reconciliation, Analysis on Rental by Types.
  • Others
  • New Vendor Setup Validation & Payment Term Setting.
  • Contra Accounts Payable (Trade) with Accounts Receivables (Non-Trade).
  • Audit Schedule preparation, Vendor/Interco Audit Confirmation, extraction of Invoice cost on SKU selected by auditor.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned by the management

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in AP function
  • Meticulous and analytical
  • Business acumen & Finance savvy
  • Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate or advance level competency in MS Excel
