Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement operations, including metal, non-metal, and import logistics. This role will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, overseeing high-value contracts, and driving cost optimisation and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience managing high-value contracts and supplier negotiations.
- Strong leadership, planning, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Experience in project leadership, change management, or sustainable procurement is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Mandarin proficiency is required for communication with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strategic and results-driven with strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & Operations
- Oversee all procurement activities, including metal, non-metal, and logistics sourcing.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services under optimal terms and conditions.
- Drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency across procurement processes.
Supplier & Contract Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers.
- Conduct vendor negotiations and manage high-value contracts.
- Minimise risks within supply agreements while maximising business value.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Ensure procurement activities comply with corporate, company, and regulatory policies.
- Develop and enhance procurement and logistics processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote the adoption of procurement best practices.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and develop purchasing and cost estimation teams.
- Set departmental objectives and monitor team performance against KPIs.
- Foster a high-performance and collaborative team environment.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare procurement reports and monitor performance against targets.
- Provide recommendations and corrective actions to Management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational requirements.
