Job Purpose

The Logistics & Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and optimization of logistics and warehouse operations across the organization. This includes overseeing inventory management, inbound and outbound shipments, domestic transportation, and the import/export of equipment and materials. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, secures necessary permits and approvals, implements effective safety procedures, and maintains efficient material flow to project sites. The incumbent will lead a logistics and warehouse team to deliver operational excellence, particularly for large-scale energy sector projects such as Power Transmission & Distribution and Renewable Energy (Solar). The role also requires strict adherence to ISO Integrated Management System (IMS) standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee all logistics and warehouse operations to ensure efficient material handling, storage, and delivery.
• Coordinate and strategically plan for all inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation scheduling, fleet management, and distribution planning for project sites.
• Strategically plan and manage optimum and efficient material storage, handling and movement to support business needs.
• Oversee import and export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and obtaining all required permits, licenses, and approvals.
• Implement and monitor inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure material traceability.
• Develop and enforce logistics and warehousing policies, procedures, and safety standards in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Manage supplier, transporter, and third-party logistics provider relationships to ensure service reliability, cost efficiency, and performance compliance.
• Collaborate with procurement, project management, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse and logistics personnel to achieve productivity and safety goals.
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee documentation, reporting, and audit compliance for logistics and warehouse activities.
• Undertake any other duties as instructed by the Superior/Senior Management team.
