Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes & Cloud) – Mandarin Speaking

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, automation, and enterprise monitoring solutions.

This opportunity is with one of the world’s leading global technology organizations, delivering innovative cloud, AI, and enterprise technology solutions across global markets.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes and cloud-native environments, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, develop automation solutions, and support AI/ML-related platforms in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerized workloads.
• Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of production environments.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools using Python, Java, or Go to reduce manual operational workload.
• Manage and maintain databases, including routine maintenance, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and fault resolution.
• Build and maintain observability solutions covering log collection, metrics monitoring, alerting, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimise CI/CD workflows and improve software delivery efficiency.
• Perform daily system health checks and proactively identify potential issues.
• Handle production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and optimisation plans.
• Support AI/ML platforms and their underlying infrastructure.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in DevOps processes, automation, reliability, and system performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, System Operations, or Cloud-Native Infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience operating or maintaining AI/ML systems and related infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, containers, and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Fluent in Mandarin for daily communication.
• Strong English communication skills, particularly for technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenSearch, Grafana, ELK Stack, or APM tools.
• Familiarity with the Argo ecosystem, including ArgoCD and Argo Workflows.
• Experience implementing GitOps practices.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end observability platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise production environments.
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure is highly advantageous.
