JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting and managing quality control activities including inspections, corrective actions, and equipment calibration to ensure products meet quality requirements and customer standards. This position is open to both entry-level candidates and experienced QC professionals, with responsibilities and scope adjusted based on experience level. Position level and remuneration will be commensurate with experience and competency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Inspection & Control
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with established QC procedures
- Conduct sampling inspections based on technical drawings, specifications, and inspection standards
- Ensure inspection activities are carried out accurately and on time to prevent production or shipment delays
Quality Issue Management
- Raise CAR / NCR for non-conforming materials or products
- Liaise with suppliers / subcontractors on material quality issues and follow up on corrective actions (experienced candidates may lead discussions independently)
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and report recurring quality issues
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit inspection reports and quality summaries to the superior
- Maintain proper inspection records, traceability, and document control in accordance with ISO / QMS requirements
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and Management Review activities
Equipment Calibration
- Manage calibration and verification of QC measuring equipment
- Maintain an up-to-date equipment master list and ensure calibration traceability
- Ensure only calibrated and verified equipment is used for inspection activities
Cross-Functional & Customer Support
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and QA teams to resolve quality issues
- Support customer quality meetings and respond to quality-related inquiries when required (experienced candidates may represent QC independently)
General Responsibilities
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
Experience
- Entry Level: Fresh graduates or candidates with internship / industrial training experience are encouraged to apply
- Experienced Level: Minimum 2 years working experience in Manufacturing / QAQC environment
Technical Skills
- Basic to strong knowledge of QC inspection methods, measurement tools, and technical drawing interpretation
- Familiarity with IQC flow, NCR, CAR, and CAPA processes (training will be provided for entry-level candidates)
- Knowledge of ISO / QMS documentation
- AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage

- Firm in quality judgement and able to work independently (for experienced candidates)
- Willing to learn, receptive to guidance, and proactive in problem-solving (for entry-level candidates)
- Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external parties
- Able to work under time pressure without compromising quality
- Good computer literacy; proficient in MS Excel and basic reporting
