Job Responsibilities
- Review of new clients and relevant enhanced due diligence (EDD) performed during onboarding process requiring approval from Compliance
- Conduct annual and trigger-based review / assessment of clients flagged by Compliance Operations in relation to AML/CFT requirements
- Perform ongoing due diligence on existing clients
- Prepare suspicious transaction reports (STRs)
- Support cross-functional Compliance testing programmes (e.g. review of marketing materials)
- Perform representatives licensing application, cessation and maintenance / review exercises to ensure compliance with licensed representatives’ obligations
- Support gathering of information for audit inspections/regulatory reporting
- Carry out other compliance-related work as required
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor degree holder 1-3 years of relevant experience in similar roles in FIs or other fintech; fresh graduates with relevant internships will also be considered
- Working knowledge of AML/CFT and experience in similar role
- Independent, proactive and problem-solving
- Attention to details
- Candidates able to start work on short notice will have an advantage
