What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions using Snowflake alongside other modern data engineering technologies.
• Develop efficient SQL-based data transformations, robust data models, and processing workflows tailored to client requirements.
• Build and optimise data ingestion processes from diverse sources including databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications to ensure seamless integration.
• Design and implement advanced cloud data warehouse solutions using Snowflake to support secure and scalable analytics environments.
• Optimise Snowflake queries, workloads, pipelines, performance metrics, and cost efficiency for maximum value delivery.
• Work closely with business stakeholders across SEA and APAC to translate complex data requirements into effective technical solutions that drive organisational success.
• Contribute actively to initiatives around data quality, governance, security protocols, and lineage tracking to uphold best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data architects, BI specialists, analysts, and engineering professionals throughout the region.
• Support technical design sessions as well as pre-sales activities such as solution proposals and proof-of-concept (POC) work for prospective clients.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in data engineering technologies while contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes and client solutions.

The ideal candidate for the Data Engineer position brings substantial experience from previous roles involving complex data warehousing projects or cloud-based analytics implementations. • Demonstrated ability to develop ETL/ELT pipelines as well as integrate disparate sources using modern tools such as dbt or Databricks.
• Experience working with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP for deploying secure analytics solutions at scale.
• Exposure to contemporary technologies including Power BI for visualisation or Airflow for workflow orchestration is highly valued.
• Solid grasp of principles related to data governance frameworks, quality assurance measures, security protocols, and DevOps practices within enterprise settings.
• Competency in Python or similar programming languages is considered advantageous for automating tasks or customising workflows.
