Job Responsibilities

• Operate conventional lathe, milling, drilling and grinding machines.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Perform machining, repair and modification of machinery parts.
• Set up machines and select suitable cutting tools.
• Check finished parts to ensure they meet required measurements.
• Maintain machines and keep the workshop clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and complete work on time.

Requirements

• Precision Engineering certification are required
• Relevant experience as a Machinist or Mechanical Technician.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Responsible, hardworking and able to work independently.
Marine or shipyard experience is an advantage.
