Wasco Process Engineering Hiring! Full Time Electrical Technician in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 3,000 - Ricebowl

Join Wasco Process Engineering Sdn Bhd, a member of Wasco Berhad, and be part of our engineering and manufacturing team. We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Technician to support the reliability, maintenance and continuous improvement of our electrical systems, machinery and facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment, machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime.
• Inspect and maintain motors, transformers, switchboards, MCCs, control panels and distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot control circuits, PLC systems, sensors and instrumentation.
• Perform electrical installation, modification and upgrading works for machinery and equipment.
• Assist in the commissioning and installation of new equipment and systems.
• Conduct electrical inspections and ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
• Follow electrical safety, LOTO and company safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant DOSH, Energy Commission (ST) and safety requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history and electrical documentation.
• Assist with spare parts planning and ensure critical electrical spare parts are available.
• Identify potential electrical issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Respond to breakdowns and support production teams in resolving technical issues.
• Perform other maintenance and technical duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and machinery maintenance.
• Familiar with electrical testing tools and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, control systems and electrical components will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and electrical safety practices.
• Able to work independently, troubleshoot problems and respond effectively during equipment breakdowns.
• Hands-on, responsible and willing to work as part of a team.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
