Health Services Authority Hiring! Full Time Consultant Cardiologist in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

The Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (HSA) is seeking a qualified and experienced Cardiologist to provide high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care for the population of the Cayman Islands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, including specialist clinics, cardiac diagnostic services, ward rounds, and the care of critically ill cardiac patients. The postholder will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, provide specialist consultation to colleagues and referring physicians, and facilitate referrals to tertiary care centers when clinically indicated. Participation in the cardiology on-call service and regular outreach clinics to Cayman Brac are required.

Candidates must possess MRCP or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification in Cardiology and have a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in Cardiology . Applicants must hold specialist licensure in a recognized jurisdiction and be eligible for registration as a Specialist Cardiologist with the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Council. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases, interpretation of cardiac diagnostic investigations, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a demanding and evolving healthcare environment.
