JOB DESCRIPTION
Assemble and install mechanical parts and equipment.
Follow drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
Align and adjust components for accurate and smooth operation.
Check leveling, straightness, parallelism, squareness, and tolerances.
Use precision tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, gauges, and levels.
Tighten fasteners according to specified torque requirements.
Perform mechanical inspection and quality checks.
Record inspection results and complete required documentation.
Identify and report defects or abnormal conditions.
Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, or machine building.
Able to read mechanical drawings and work instructions.
Able to use precision measurement tools.
Basic knowledge of mechanical tolerances and torque.
NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Experience with precision or industrial equipment is an advantage.
