Job Specifications:

1. Degree holder and possesses at least a Bachelor of Arts or Social Sciences (majoring in Social Work), Bachelor of Social Work, Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work or any other relevant graduate qualifications pertaining to social work.

2. Exhibits maturity, sincerity, and passion to work with individuals and families who are facing challenges.

3. A good team player with a positive attitude as well as a caring and compassionate individual.

4. Possesses a strong sense of integrity in working in the best interests of the agency and its clients.

5. Possesses good interpersonal, writing and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

(a) Provision of Casework and Information and Referral Services.

(b) Coordination and Facilitation of Community Support Programmes.

(c) Coordination of Activities and Initiatives of Staff Working Committee(s).

The Foundation of Rotary Clubs (Singapore) Ltd (FRCS) unites 23 Rotary clubs in Singapore in charitable and community services. FRCS is recognized as an Institution of Public Character (IPC) (IPC000279) since 15 July 1994 and are a member of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS).

Objectives of the Foundation:

• To support social and humanitarian causes, which are exclusively charitable.

• To work with other organizations in Singapore, including Rotary clubs, to support social and humanitarian activities.
  

The foundation has three divisions:

(1) Rotary Learning Institute Singapore (RLIS), offering a wide range of innovative courses that seek to enhance skills in the social sector and among seniors.

(2) FRCS Family Service Centre, providing support to residents in need, within the Clementi and West Coast area;

(3) FRCS Eldercare and Caregivers Centre is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2021, serving seniors and caregivers in the western part of Singapore.
