Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs, measurements and cost analysis.
• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Handle progress claims, variation orders, payment responses and final accounts.
• Review subcontractor claims and monitor project costs and cash flow.
• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and measurements.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate contract, claim and cost documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction or Project Management, Building, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Building Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QS experience in Singapore’s construction industry.
• Experience in landed residential rebuild, A&A or landed construction projects is required.
• Familiar with the costing of demolition, structural, architectural, M&E and finishing works.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and understand local construction practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity take-off or costing software.
• Strong numerical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.
• Good written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM–6:30 PM. Half-day weekend work maybe required for urgent project matters.
