Technical Sales Executive
ANR Technologies is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to drive sales activity across the Company's products and services. The role is responsible for managing sales opportunities through to confirmed customer purchase orders and maintaining accurate sales activity records.
Following an initial one-week training period , the Technical Sales Executive is expected to maximise sales activity and pursue the highest reasonably achievable level of sales performance. Sales activity, progress and performance are evaluated weekly during the first 90 days and periodically thereafter.
Performance is measured through a sales-point framework with defined third-month and sixth-month checkpoints. From the seventh month onward , the role may earn sales commission when the minimum monthly sales target and other qualifying conditions are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise sales activity after initial training and consistently work toward the highest reasonably achievable sales performance.
- Manage and close sales opportunities products and services.
- Follow up on opportunities referred by other salespeople, management or general Company enquiries, and manage them through order closure.
- Secure valid customer purchase orders and ensure qualifying sales are accurately recorded within the applicable calendar month.
- Maintain complete and accurate sales activity records and submit required reports for the preceding month no later than the fifth day of the following month.
Compensation and Commission
- Base Salary: S$3,000 per month.
- First Six Months: S$1,000 per month training allowance in addition to base salary; no sales commission is payable.
- From the Seventh Month: the training allowance ceases. Commission may be earned on eligible new sales when the employee the sales target in the calendar month and satisfies the other commission conditions.
Employment Details
- Probation: Three (3) months, subject to performance review and written confirmation.
- Normal Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Requirements
- Strong sales drive and the discipline to work consistently toward quantitative monthly sales targets.
- Ability to learn the Company's products and services quickly and communicate their commercial value clearly to customers.
- Effective verbal and written communication, customer follow-up and internal coordination skills.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail in handling sales records, purchase orders and monthly activity reports.
- Comfortable working within a structured performance framework that includes weekly evaluation, formal checkpoints and ongoing coaching.
- Good commercial judgement and the ability to follow pricing approvals, internal controls and limits of authority.
- Responsible and persistent in supporting customer-payment follow-up within agreed credit terms.
- High integrity and discretion when handling confidential Company, customer and commercial information.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the sales team, management and other colleagues.
- Professional conduct and willingness to comply with Company policies and applicable Singapore laws and regulations.
Preferred Skills
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- B2B sales, technical sales, product sales or service sales in a target-driven environment.
- Managing a sales opportunity from initial enquiry or referral through to confirmed purchase order.
- Preparing or handling quotations, purchase orders, sales activity records and monthly sales reports.
- Working with customer credit terms and following up on outstanding payments.
- Working under a sales commission structure with clear performance metrics and minimum thresholds.
- Coordinating with management on pricing, margin exceptions or other commercial approvals.
