Job Purpose:

The Logistics Assistant and Events Barista combines safe and efficient driving with barista duties for our coffee catering events. The employee plays a key role in keeping our cafés and events running smoothly. The employee also helps with logistics such as restocking supplies and transporting equipment, while also representing Foreword Coffee as a barista at corporate and community events.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Driving & Logistics

• Deliver weekly café restocks (coffee beans and supplies) to outlets.
• Pack and prepare items for café restocks and event setups.
• Transport coffee carts, brewing equipment, and supplies to event sites.
• Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving and organizing equipment.
• Ensure safe and responsible driving of the company van, maintaining cleanliness and upkeep.

Barista & Event Support

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee at corporate and community events.
• Engage customers with friendly service.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth event operations.
Support café operations where necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Class 3 driving licence (required).
• Safe, responsible, and punctual driver with a good record.
• Physically fit to handle event setup and lifting items (up to 25-30kg).
• Valid food hygiene certificate.
• Friendly, positive, and team-oriented.
• Willing to work one weekend day per week.
• Prior F&B or barista experience is a plus, but not required (training provided).
