Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Projects supports planning, execution, and delivery of key projects including dormitory infrastructure and industry programmes, ensuring timely, aligned outcomes through strong coordination and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate the planning and execution of Association projects and initiatives to meet organisational goals
  • Organise and manage Association events from conception to completion across physical, hybrid and virtual formats
  • Manage end-to-end project activities to ensure timely and successful delivery of outcomes
  • Prepare clear and accurate meeting slides and minutes to support effective project communication
  • Generate detailed post-event reports and income and expenditure statements for assigned projects
  • Develop engaging communication materials for members and social media platforms to enhance outreach and engagement
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and internal teams to ensure smooth task execution and project progress
  • Provide administrative support and maintain general documentation to support Association operations
  • Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project and organisational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma holder, preferably with experience in events management
  • Proficient in MS Office applications to support project documentation and communication
  • Strong analytical, writing and interpersonal skills to contribute effectively in team settings
  • Well-organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
  • Effective time management skills to prioritise and complete assignments efficiently
  • Positive working attitude and pleasant personality to foster a collaborative work environment
  • Team player with a spirit of cooperation and support
