• Valid engineering qualifications / relevant professional certifications
• Strong knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance procedures and maritime regulations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals and plans
• Good leadership, planning and communication skills
• Experience with MOM, port authority and maritime safety compliance is preferred
