Utilities Technician

Orion Group Life Sciences are currently recruiting a Utilities Technician on behalf of our multinational biopharmaceutical client based in Tuas.

This is an initial contract until the end of 2026 , with the potential to extend.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform routine operation, monitoring and planned maintenance of utility systems under supervision.
• Support the operation and maintenance of boilers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers and Air Handling Units (AHUs).
• Carry out basic troubleshooting of utility systems.
• Complete maintenance documentation in accordance with cGMP and EHS procedures.
• Support the Utilities team in maintaining the safe and reliable operation of site utilities.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Utilities team.

Qualifications

• NITEC, ITE or Diploma qualification in an Engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, process manufacturing, semiconductor, power generation or related industries.
• Basic understanding of cGMP and EHS requirements would be advantageous.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift pattern .
