Job Description
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food and beverage operations and ensure outlets are prepared before service.
- Allocate duties, prepare shift rosters, brief employees, and monitor team performance.
- Train and coach new and existing team members on service procedures, menus, and workplace policies.
- Maintain standards of customer service, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Welcome guests, monitor their dining experience, collect feedback, and resolve complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, stewarding, cashier, housekeeping, and restocking.
- Ensure employees follow service sequences, grooming requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor inventory, conduct stock checks, order supplies, and minimize waste.
- Handle cash, billing, point-of-sale transactions, and end-of-shift reconciliation when required.
- Support upselling initiatives and assist management in achieving revenue and cost targets.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, responsible service of alcohol, food handling, health and safety, and employment regulations.
- Report operational problems, maintenance requirements, incidents, and performance concerns to management.
