About The Role

The Logistic Engineerplays a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and tracking ofIT equipment and materials within our datacenter operations. You will beresponsible for inventory accuracy, receiving and shipping hardware, preparing productionorders, and supporting operational teams with timely logistics services.

Working closely withDatacenter Operations, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders, you willhelp maintain high operational standards while ensuring inventory integrity andcompliance with internal processes and service level agreements (SLAs)

Job Description

As a Logistic Engineer , you are responsible for ensuring theefficient and accurate flow of IT equipment and materials throughout ourdatacenter operations. You will play a key role in maintaining inventoryaccuracy, processing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring hardware isavailable to support operational requirements. You will take ownership ofinventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations whileworking closely with Datacenter Operations, Procurement, and other internalstakeholders. This position is characterized by attention to detail, a strongsense of responsibility, operational excellence, and a proactive, hands-onapproach to supporting Leaseweb's infrastructure and service delivery.

• Ensures that quantity andquality of the incoming and outgoing shipments are correct

• Maintains controls overvarious types of inventories (servers, server components and accessories)

• Reports inconsistencies inthe received shipments and administers the received goods into the logisticssystems

• Executes a high standardin inventory management. Including sorting and handling returned equipment fromthe data center.

• Executes order pickingbased on production orders (tickets) in a timely matter according to the OLA

• Executes outgoingshipments to internal and external customers according to the SLA
  

Job Requirements

We are looking for a proactive, organized,and hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment:

• Diploma orBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering,Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventorymanagement, or datacentre operations.

• Experiencehandling IT hardware such as servers, networking equipment, or computercomponents is highly preferred.

• Familiaritywith inventory management systems or ERP software is an advantage.

• Strongattention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability toprioritize tasks and meet operational deadlines.

• Comfortablehandling and moving IT equipment safely.

• Goodcommunication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• BasicMicrosoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

• Willingnessto work in a datacentre environment and occasionally outside normal businesshours when operationally required.

• Forkliftcertification or warehouse handling experience is an advantage but notmandatory.
