IT Assistant

We are looking for an IT Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of our IT infrastructure across the company. The hire will be responsible for maintaining hardware, software, network systems, security, and providing technical support to users.

• Monitor system performance and ensure network, system, and endpoint security.

• Maintain and support hardware, software, servers, and internal IT infrastructure.

• Administer and maintain internal systems including door access, parking, and telephony systems.

• Maintain CCTV and Wi-Fi network infrastructure.

• Provide remote and onsite technical support to employees and customers, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

• Log, monitor, and resolve support requests through the company's ticketing system.

• Maintain accurate network diagrams, floor plans, system inventories, and technical documentation.

• Perform software installation, system upgrades, backups, and routine preventive maintenance.

• Liaise with external vendors and service providers for IT equipment and support when required.

• Carry out any other ad hoc duties assigned by the company from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT support experience.

• Experience with Windows desktop and Windows Server administration.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft365.

• Familiarity with networking, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, telephony systems, and endpoint security.

• Knowledge of PHP, CSS, HTML, CMS, or website administration will be an advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills with a positive attitude.
