Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Human Resource Management

  • Lead the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career development and employee separation.
  • Ensure effective HR operations covering payroll administration, employee records, benefits administration and statutory compliance.
  • Review and enhance HR policies, processes and the Employee Handbook to support organisational effectiveness.

2. Talent & Organisation Development

  • Develop and implement initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, employee engagement and workplace culture.
  • Drive Learning & Development initiatives, including annual training plans, competency development and professional development programmes.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning and performance management initiatives in partnership with Management.

3. HR Strategy & Governance

  • Partner with the Executive Director and Management to align HR initiatives with ASPRI's strategic priorities.
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics and recommendations to support Management and Council decision-making.
  • Support HR governance, manpower planning and organisational development initiatives.

4. HR Partnerships & Workforce Development

  • Coordinate with government agencies, HR consultants and training providers on HR, workforce development and capability-building initiatives.
  • Support workforce grants, HR programmes and external learning opportunities relevant to ASPRI's organisational development.

5. Secretariat Support

  • Provide hands-on HR and corporate administrative support appropriate to a lean organisation.
  • Support Secretariat operations and undertake additional organisational projects and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organisational Development or a related discipline to our industry
  • IHRP certification or equivalent professional qualification will be anadvantage.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant Human Resource experience.
  • Exposure across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, HR operations, employee engagement and Learning & Development.
  • Experience in SMEs, Trade Associations or lean organisations will be an advantage.
  • Experience supporting HR projects or organisational improvement initiatives will be advantageous.
  • Candidates with strong potential and a willingness to grow into broader HR responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
  • Location: Jurong East / Jalan Papan (Training Centre support required twice weekly)

Established in 1997, the Association of Process Industry (ASPRI) is a membership-based trade association that represents the interest of companies in Singapore’s Process Industry. This includes the petroleum, petrochemical, specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical sectors. Our membership comprises mainly Engineering Service Providers (ESPs) that support the Process Industry in the areas of plant maintenance and plant construction.
