Job Description

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities

  • Manages the Project Controls teams for the project, consisting of: Cost Engineers, Change Coordinator and Planning Engineers
  • Ensures delivery of the project's contract compliant and Client Corporate Standards compliant congruent Project Controls Services on:
    • Cost & Financial control
    • Invoicing
    • Change Control
    • Risk Management
    • Planning & Scheduling
    • Progress Management & Reporting
  • Manages subcontractors - works closely with Client's subcontracts and procurement / commercial manager
  • ensures key project admin structures are defined, approved and maintained
  • ensures (re)baselines for reporting on Cost, Finance, Planning and Progress are defined, approved and maintained.
  • Manages and oversees the Sales Invoicing for Client's client (mixed reimbursable and Lump Sum contract setup)
  • Manages and oversees the aggregated reporting of Cost and Financial Status (Cash Flow and VOWD) for the Project, internally and towards clients.
  • Manages and oversees the Planning and Scheduling on the Project, including integration of sub-schedules, including progress-measurement and -reporting.
  • Manages and oversees the Change Control process of the Project.
  • Supports the Project Manager on Risk Management, oversees the Risk Management Process and chairs and reports the Risk Assessment sessions to Project Management.
  • Presents project status on Cost, Finance, Planning, Progress, Change Management and Risk Management to stakeholders as required.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in leading a Project Controls team on industrial EPC projects with value >100M USD in either the O&G or similar industries. Experience over the fields of Cost Control, Planning & Scheduling, Change Control and Risk Management is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of working with industry standard financial and ERP tools (such as e.g. SAP or MS Dynamics Business Control) and PRIMAVERA P6.
  • Possesses a strong commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Flexibility to travel and be assigned world-wide.
