About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Quality Assurance Executive to support quality and compliance initiatives within a logistics and warehouse environment. This role is suited for professionals who enjoy analysing operational performance, improving business processes, and ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved.

You will work closely with warehouse and operations teams to monitor quality performance, investigate operational issues, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and established operating procedures.

• Conduct routine audits and inspections across warehouse and logistics operations to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.

• Analyse operational data, identify trends, and prepare management reports to support performance reviews.

• Investigate operational discrepancies, product damages, inventory issues, customer complaints, and service failures, recommending appropriate corrective actions.

• Work closely with operations teams to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Monitor key operational indicators and provide recommendations to improve productivity and operational performance.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management processes and compliance initiatives.

• Maintain accurate documentation relating to audits, investigations, corrective actions, and quality records.

• Participate in internal and external quality audits and ensure required documentation is properly maintained.

• Provide guidance and support to operational staff on quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.

• Assist with continuous improvement projects and other operational initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

Essential

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality management, warehouse operations, or logistics.

• Previous experience within contract logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing, or distribution operations is highly preferred.

• Good understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.

• Experience conducting audits, monitoring operational compliance, and preparing quality documentation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational improvement opportunities.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis. Experience with Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems.

• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP platforms.

• Experience supporting continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
