Job Summary

Join our Design for Safety Management Consultancy to lead and facilitate design review processes for government and private construction projects, ensuring safety and health risks are identified and mitigated effectively. We are looking for those interested, hardworking, and qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination meetings with owners, clients, consultants, and main contractors to align project safety objectives.
• Facilitate design review processes involving relevant stakeholders to identify and address safety and health risks in construction projects.
• Compile and prepare risk assessments compliant with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Develop and implement new processes and methodologies to enhance safe work environments during construction operations.
• Record minutes of meetings and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for project tracking.
• Oversee and manage daily operations and overall project matters to ensure timely and safe delivery.
• Report and discuss project progress and status with Design for Safety Professionals (DfSP).
• Coordinate and liaise with all stakeholders to ensure compliance with WSH requirements, project schedules, and customer expectations.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Safety and Health, Civil & Structural Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Construction, or equivalent safety professional certification.
• Experience in project management and operations management within construction or safety environments.
• Knowledge of building design and construction processes.
• Understanding of legal and statutory requirements related to building construction and safety.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated, independent, and resourceful with initiative to deliver organized and meticulous work.
• Proficient in written and oral communication, presentation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
