We are looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant Executive to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with no prior working experience who are keen to build a career in Procurement within the Construction industry.

Job Description:

• Handle day-to-day purchasing activities and support procurement operations.
• Assist in sourcing suppliers and subcontractors for construction materials, equipment and services.
• Liaise with Project/ Service Managers, Engineers and other internal department to verify purchase requisition form and obtain the necessary approvals.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Order (PO), Letter of Award (LOA) and Variation Order (VO).
• Verify supplier and subcontractor invoices, ensuring supporting documents are completed for timely processing.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost savings.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor database, and filing systems.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
