Job Description

TMB is looking for an experiencedSales Interior Designer to join our team.

The role involves meeting clients,understanding their design requirements and budget, preparing design proposals,and following up to secure projects. The candidate will also coordinate withthe project team from design development to project completion.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand their needs, style and budget
• Prepare space planning, design concepts and layouts
• Create mood boards, presentations, 2D drawings and 3D perspectives
• Prepare quotations and follow up with clients
• Achieve assigned sales targets
• Recommend suitable materials, colours, finishes and furniture
• Prepare detailed drawings and project documentation
• Conduct site measurements and site visits when required
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors and suppliers
• Ensure drawings and design work are completed on schedule
• Handle multiple projects independently
• Support the team in delivering projects successfully

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field
• Minimum 3 years of local experience in residential, hospitality or commercial projects
• Experience in sales and client management is preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of space planning, materials and construction details
• Creative, organised and able to work independently
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of English and Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders
