Job title: Finance Process, Systems & Change Manager (Contract)

Role Description

The Finance Process, Systems & Change Manager is responsible for translating the APAC Finance transformation strategy into sustainable process, systems and adoption outcomes. The role leads Finance process optimisation, technology enablement and change management initiatives that support the delivery of the Finance operating model transformation agenda.

Working across Finance, Technology, Shared Services and business stakeholders, the role is accountable for process standardisation, systems implementation and optimisation, automation and AI-enabled improvements, and the successful adoption of new ways of working. The role ensures transformation initiatives are embedded into business-as-usual operations through effective stakeholder engagement, training, communications and continuous improvement.

Process Transformation & Standardisation

• Lead the review, redesign and standardisation of Finance processes across APAC, ensuring alignment to the Finance operating model and global Finance blueprint.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, eliminate inefficiencies and improve service delivery across Finance teams.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standards and operating procedures to drive consistency and scalability.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to implement process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness, productivity and user experience.
• Support the transition of activities into Shared Services, Centres of Excellence and other scalable delivery models as defined by the Finance operating model strategy.

Finance Systems & Technology Enablement

• Act as the Finance lead for systems-enabled transformation initiatives, ensuring technology solutions support business requirements and operational objectives.
• Partner with Technology teams to support the implementation, optimisation and ongoing enhancement of Finance platforms, including OneERP, D365, Prisma and related technologies. Translate Finance requirements into practical technology solutions that improve process efficiency, controls and data quality.
• Coordinate testing, user acceptance activities and deployment readiness to ensure successful implementation of system changes.
• Support the adoption of standardised technology solutions and minimise local process or system variations where possible.

Controls, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Drive the standardisation and enhancement of Finance controls, governance processes and compliance practices across APAC.
• Improve process auditability, control effectiveness and operational consistency through system-enabled controls and standard ways of working.
• Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation.
• Work with Finance, Shared Services and Technology teams to address process risks, control gaps and operational inefficiencies.
• Ensure process improvements support regulatory requirements, internal policies and Finance governance standards.

Automation, AI & Digital Transformation

• Identify, evaluate and implement opportunities to automate Finance processes and reduce manual effort across the function.
• Partner with Finance and Technology stakeholders to scale the use of AI and digital capabilities that improve productivity, efficiency and service quality.
• Support the delivery of system-enabled benefits through automation, workflow optimisation and data-driven decision making.
• Promote innovative approaches and best practices that accelerate Finance transformation outcomes.
• Measure and monitor the impact of automation initiatives, identifying opportunities for further optimisation and scale

Change Management & Adoption

• Develop and deliver change management plans to support the successful implementation of Finance transformation initiatives.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, communications and training activities to build understanding, capability and readiness across Finance teams.
• Support leaders and end users through process, system and organisational changes, ensuring adoption of new ways of working.
• Monitor adoption outcomes and implement interventions to address resistance, capability gaps and change risks.
• Establish sustainable capability-building approaches that embed transformation outcomes into business-as-usual operations.
