Responsibilities

• Analyse and monitor palm oil mill daily production yields (oil extraction rates & kernel extraction rates)
• Supervise and monitor team of supervisors, operators, and workers, ensuring timely delivery of all projects, maintenance, and daily work
• Ensures efficiency of milling operation and accuracy of information
• Ensure daily production targets are met
• Prepare monthly mill performance and engineering reports
• Assist in planning of budget, business strategy, and preventive maintenance schedule for mill
• Ensures all Standard Operation Procedures are followed at the mill
• Monitors and coordinates project implementations
• Assist in mill upgrade works

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
• Steam Certificate (Grade 1 or 2) will be viewed positively
• Knowledge in MSPO and any other palm oil related certification will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skill
• Must possess strong problem solving skill, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong leadership skills
• Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in related field
• Willing to travel
• Willing to work in Peninsular or East Malaysia.
