Job Summary
To ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all trade regulatory approvals, including MITI import/export applications, Customs Cost Analysis (CA) submissions, and Certificate of Origin (COO) documentation.
The role ensures that all import and export activities comply with Malaysian regulatory and customs requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and submit MITI-related applications, including Cost Analysis (CA), Certificate of Origin (COO), and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) documentation.
- Process and monitor COO applications through the MITI ePCO system.
- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and origin documentation to ensure compliance with FTA and preferential rules of origin requirements.
- Prepare and verify supporting documents for Form A, Form D, Form E, and other FTA-related COOs.
- Ensure accuracy of COO documentation to facilitate customers’ claims for preferential import duties at the destination country.
- Ensure all MITI and customs documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with regulatory standards.
- Liaise with internal departments (Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Technical teams) to obtain necessary data and documentation.
- Stay updated on MITI regulations, policy amendments, and compliance requirements.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs related to MITI applications, Cost Analysis submissions, and COO processes.
To be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics preferred.
- Experience in import/export operations, trade compliance, or MITI/Customs documentation handling.
- Familir with SAP will be advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
