Position Overview

Join our EdTech product development team as a Cloud Computing Engineer and contribute to the research and development of innovative AI-powered, cloud-based solutions.

As a core member of the team, you will help design, develop and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and applications. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in AWS, artificial intelligence and modern web technologies while supporting the continued growth of our products and business

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable solutions on AWS.
• Manage AWS cloud architecture, deployment and security configurations.
• Develop serverless workflows using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Implement AI and image-recognition features using AWS Recognition.
• Manage cloud databases using AWS RDS and MySQL.
• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular and Node.js.
• Build and integrate AI or machine-learning solutions using Python and TensorFlow.
• Participate in technical research, system testing and product development.
• Coordinate project deliverables and work closely with internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, application and system performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of relevant project or technical implementation experience.
• Hands-on experience in AWS architecture and cloud security management.
• Practical knowledge of AWS Rekognition, Lambda and Step Functions.
• Experience working with AWS RDS and MySQL.
• Proficiency in Angular and Node.js.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with TensorFlow or other machine-learning frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and project coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin & Contonese.
