Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Assist in accident/incident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate safety training, toolbox meetings, emergency drills and awareness programs.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE and safe working practices within the plant.
• Maintain safety records, reports, permits and relevant documentation.
• Support risk assessments, safety audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Liaise with relevant departments, contractors and authorities on safety-related matters.
• Assist in managing emergency response, fire safety and workplace health programs.
• Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture among employees.
• Perform other EHS-related duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering or a related field.
• Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH/JKKP is preferred/required, depending on the position requirements.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of occupational safety and health practices and applicable regulations.
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
