Job Description

We are looking for a Welder to join our manufacturing team in Penang. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, grinding and inspection activities while maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding according to production requirements.
• Weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium components.
• Carry out grinding, cutting and general fabrication work.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
• Perform measurements and visual inspection of completed work.
• Ensure welding work meets required quality standards.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

• SKM Level 2 / 3, Certificate or Diploma.
• Qualification in Welding, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or a related field.
• MIG / TIG welding experience is an advantage.
• Experience with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium welding is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Candidates with relevant technical qualifications but limited experience are welcome to apply.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
