Our client is a LCD design and manufacturing company with manufacturing plants in worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End ADAS/DMS Development: Oversee the full lifecycle of in-vehicle Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) algorithms, from initial R&D through to commercial mass production.
• Pipeline & Model Optimization: Execute core algorithm engineering tasks—including data pipeline management (collection and cleaning), model training, fine-tuning, and lightweighting techniques (quantization, pruning, distillation) for edge devices.
• Embedded Deployment & Integration: Deploy and optimize models on embedded hardware, conduct in-vehicle testing, refine real-time inference performance, and iterate algorithms to meet mass-production standards.
• Cross-Platform Adaptation & SDK Delivery: Partner with engineering teams to package algorithms into robust SDKs, adapt models across diverse chip architectures, and maximize chip efficiency regarding latency and power consumption.
• Next-Gen AI Research: Lead exploratory R&D on lightweight Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multimodal AI, validating their practical application for in-vehicle perception and driver/passenger behavior analysis.
• Cross-Functional & Resource Leadership: Coordinate internal R&D resources, applying a strong business mindset that bridges technical development with product strategy, marketing goals, and project timelines.
• Academic Partnerships: Drive collaborative research initiatives and joint technical projects with university research teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Electronic Information, Machine Vision or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in the mass production R&D of in-vehicle vision algorithms.
• Experience in the mass production implementation of ADAS, DMS, 360-degree surround view or SLAM;
• Proficiency in the engineering deployment of inference frameworks such as NPU chips, MNN and NCNN; and in light weighting techniques including knowledge distillation, INT8/INT4 quantisation and structural pruning.
• Proficient in Python and the PyTorch deep learning framework; possesses solid C++ engineering development skills, as well as SDK encapsulation and cross-platform adaptation capabilities.
• Possess strong learning and technical transfer capabilities; proactively track developments in large-scale model technology; able to quickly master LoRA/QLoRA fine-tuning, multimodal model light weighting and on-device deployment of large-scale models;
• Excellent communication , presentation and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Frequent travel to PRC is necessary
