Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Technician to join our technical team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining hydraulic systems on various equipment, including skylifts, truck-mounted machinery, and industrial hydraulic equipment.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in hydraulic systems and identify root causes.
• Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, control valves, and hydraulic power units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Read and interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical manuals.
• Inspect hydraulic hoses, fittings, seals, and components for wear and damage.
• Replace hydraulic hoses, seals, bearings, and other defective components.
• Conduct pressure testing and functional testing after repairs.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and basic electrical control systems.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Support onsite service jobs and emergency breakdown repairs when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, Hydraulics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hydraulic repair and maintenance (fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply).
• Experience repairing skylifts, aerial work platforms, cranes, forklifts, lorry-mounted equipment, or heavy machinery is an advantage.
• Able to read hydraulic schematics.
• Familiar with hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, filters, and power packs.
• Possess good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel for onsite service work when required.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence (preferred).

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
