Responsible for leading the design, coordination, and implementation of BMS and ELV systems to ensure all engineering, installation, and integration activities meet project specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements. Involves developing system design standards, reviewing technical deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and contractors, and ensuring seamless integration of smart building technologies, control systems, and security systems throughout the project lifecycle

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design of BMS control architecture, including control philosophy, system schematics, network topology, and integration with HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems..
• Review and verify all design documentation, including functional design specifications (FDS), shop drawings, system schematics, method statements, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor and ensure proper implementation of system integration between BMS, ELV, and M&E systems, including energy monitoring, power management systems, and IoT/cloud-based platforms.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure design compliance and smooth implementation at all project stages.
• Provide technical leadership in design optimization and value engineering, ensuring cost-effective, reliable, and scalable system solutions.
• Manage and review vendor and subcontractor submissions, ensuring all equipment and systems meet technical specifications and project requirements.
• Support site activities by providing technical guidance, responding to RFIs, and ensuring proper testing & commissioning (T&C) of BMS and ELV systems.
• Maintain proper design and technical documentation, including system reports, testing records, and final as-built drawings.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical presentations as the subject matter expert for BMS and ELV systems.
• Ensure all systems comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices, including local authority requirements and energy efficiency guidelines.
• Any other duties assigned by Head of Engineering Design.

SUPERVISION:

• Receives daily supervision and workload from Head of Engineering Design
• Receives general supervision from the Deputy Project Director when required.

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
