Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and leadership-minded QA Assistant Supervisor to support our Quality Assurance operations. In this role, you will assist in overseeing daily QA/QC activities, supervising inspection personnel, driving ISO compliance, and ensuring all outgoing products meet strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure the Quality & Environmental Management System complies with the ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standard.
- Assist in ensuring QA documentation is properly recorded, maintained, and controlled.
- Support QA activities across all sections to ensure smooth operation.
- Assist in compiling and updating weekly Quality Reports for management review.
- Support investigation of internal and external quality complaints and assist in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure all products meet customer requirements, specifications, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Monitor and ensure quality inspection activities are properly carried out according to established QA procedures and standards.
- Ensure all outgoing products and components released by production and packing sections comply with quality requirements before transfer to finished goods or semi-finished storage areas.
- Assist in preparing Standard Operating Instructions (SOI).
- Conduct or support training for QA Inspectors and Production Operators on quality standards and inspection methods.
- Supervise leader, inspectors and ensure inspections are conducted accurately and in accordance with QA responsibilities.
- Verify non-conforming products and coordinate corrective actions with production and technical personnel.
- Inform supervisors or relevant departments regarding non-compliance issues for Non-Conformance Report (NCR) issuance.
- Monitor and report staff discipline, work performance, and adherence to SOPs.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards within the QA department.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance.
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection processes and proficiency with standard measuring instruments (caliper, gauges, etc.).
- Familiarity with plastic injection molding defects is an added advantage.
- Must be willing and able to work night shifts.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with a willingness to learn and develop leadership capabilities.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
