Job Description

1. Manage and process Variation Orders (VOs) for ongoing confirmed projects — from identification, measurement, and pricing through to submission and approval
2. Maintain a live VO register for each project, tracking status, pending approvals, and certified amounts at all times
3. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) for variation works and client-requested additional small works
4. Assess, measure, and price ad-hoc additional works requested by clients on ongoing projects
5. Prepare regular VO status reports for internal review by management and the project team
6. Prepare cost breakdowns, quotations, and supporting documents for client review and approval
7. Coordinate with the site team and sub-con to verify scope, quantities, and completion status before submitting for invoicing
8. Liaise with clients on variation and cost matters, ensuring timely submission and follow-up on approvals
9. Assist in progress claims and interim valuations where required
10. Maintain organized records of all cost documents, approvals, and correspondence for each project

Criteria

- Candidates must possess a recent Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Solid understanding of VO processes and post-contract cost management
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. PAM, JKR, CIDB) is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for cost tracking, VO registers, and reporting
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail — able to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
- Good communication skills — able to liaise professionally with clients, site teams, and internal departments
- Able to work independently and take full ownership of assigned projects
- Mandarin proficiency preferred

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
