KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Tax Compliance & Advisory

• Assist in providing tax advisory services, including handling audit queries and tax appeal matters.
• Prepare and review tax computations for individual and corporate clients.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns and statutory documents.
• Manage withholding tax matters and ensure payments are made within the required deadlines.
• Support tax reporting, forecasting, payment revisions, instalment tracking, and tax refund processes.
• Ensure all tax statements and submissions are accurately prepared with complete supporting documentation.

Review & Coordination

• Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance where necessary.
• Assist in coordinating team workflows to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain and update tax databases and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist the Manager/Director with tax-related projects and ad-hoc assignments.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant tax experience.
• Experience handling tax matters for both individual and corporate clients.
• Good understanding of Malaysian tax compliance and related procedures.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
