Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Engineer to support business growth within the construction and industrial sectors.

The successful candidate will combine technical construction knowledge with strong sales and relationship-building skills, working closely with Developers, Main Contractors, Consultants, Architects, Quantity Surveyors and other key industry stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Promote, develop and expand the company’s products and technical solutions within the construction and industrial sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Developers, Main Contractors, Consultants and other key stakeholders.
• Provide technical support, product consultation and suitable solutions based on clients' project requirements.
• Conduct technical presentations, product briefings and demonstrations for prospective and existing clients.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop appropriate technical solutions that meet project and client requirements.
• Drive sales activities and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop potential client accounts.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis, including pricing, systems and market offerings.
• Recommend effective sales strategies based on market trends and competitor activities.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships to support continuous business growth and project opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in sales and/or the construction industry.
• Experience within the industrial or construction sector will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of the construction industry and ability to communicate technical information to clients.
• Self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
• Good computer skills, particularly in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Cantonese and/or Mandarin will be an added advantage.
