Capata Hiring! Full Time Finance Manager in - Ricebowl

I would rather hire the right person for the wrong job than the wrong person for the right job.

So: Finance Manager at Capata, part of the TransAsia Private Capital group, a fintech asset management group that focuses on SME financing in APAC. The position is based in Singapore.

You would be responsible for the group's finance and accounting functions — our own books across Singapore and Hong Kong. But what we are actually looking for is a particular kind of mindset: restless, commercial, allergic to doing by hand what a machine should do.

The work is small enough to automate and complex enough to be interesting. Once it's automated, the job becomes budgeting, forecasting and helping the group optimise its finances in line with its business objectives.

Around 3 years of experience - sufficient accounting/finance grounding to hold your own. Advanced with AI, not just curious about it. Has run a project end to end and seen it land — a launch, an event, a programme, a business of your own.
