Job Overview

We are looking for an Overseas Game Platform Operations Engineer to support the stability, reliability, and optimization of Tencent's overseas gaming platforms.

The role will focus on cloud infrastructure operations, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and platform optimization to ensure high availability of global gaming services.

We welcome candidates with backgrounds in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, System Operations, or Platform Engineering who have hands-on experience managing production environments and are passionate about building reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of overseas gaming platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis to improve platform reliability.
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure environments, including Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Develop automation scripts/tools using Shell or Python to improve operational efficiency.
• Improve monitoring systems, alerting mechanisms, and operational processes.
• Support high availability solutions and system stability improvements.
• Perform basic database operation and maintenance activities, including MySQL/Redis.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver reliable solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
• 1.5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, System Operations, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems and Shell/Python scripting.
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, or containerized environments is preferred.
• Experience in production environment monitoring, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL and Redis is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good Mandarin communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with regional teams.
• Good English communication skills are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale internet platforms or gaming services.
• Experience with high availability architecture, monitoring tools, CI/CD, or automation frameworks.
• Experience working with global or distributed systems.
