Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Assistant Manager to support the organisation's human resource functions and partner closely with business leaders to achieve organisational goals. The successful candidate will oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation, drive HR initiatives, and support employee engagement and organisational development.

This role requires a strong understanding of HR operations, employment legislation, stakeholder management, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, contract renewals, offboarding, and exit processes.
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR letters, and employee records.
• Ensure HR documentation is accurate, confidential, and up to date.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, interviewing, salary recommendations, offer management, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers on manpower planning and recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through various recruitment channels.

Employee Relations

• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, employment matters, and workplace issues.
• Support investigations, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and performance management.
• Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.

Compensation & Benefits

• Support payroll preparation by validating employee movements and payroll-related changes.
• Coordinate annual salary reviews, promotions, bonuses, and employee benefits.
• Conduct salary benchmarking and provide market insights.

HR Compliance

• Ensure compliance with the Singapore Employment Act , MOM regulations, CPF requirements, Tripartite Guidelines (TAFEP & TADM), PDPA, and other relevant employment legislation.
• Review and update HR policies, SOPs, and employment documentation to align with statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external HR audits.

Learning & Development

• Coordinate employee training and development programmes.
• Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
• Monitor training records and statutory training requirements.

HR Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards, including headcount, recruitment, turnover, absenteeism, and workforce analytics.
• Analyse HR data and provide recommendations to support business decisions.

Employee Engagement

• Organise employee engagement programmes, staff recognition initiatives, and corporate events.
• Support employee wellness and organisational culture initiatives.

HR Projects

• Participate in HR process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support organisational restructuring, policy implementation, and change management projects.
• Undertake other HR-related projects assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR generalist experience , preferably in an Assistant Manager or Senior Executive capacity.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act , MOM regulations, CPF, Tripartite Guidelines (TAFEP & TADM), and local employment practices.
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and HR operations.
• Good understanding of HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• IHRP Certification is an advantage.
• Experience in HR analytics and HR process improvement.
• Experience supporting multi-site operations.
• Familiarity with HR digitalisation and AI-enabled HR solutions is a plus.
