Job Description

The Company is looking for a motivated and technically competent Sales Engineer to support business development and sales activities for engineering products and solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations and technical proposals, conducting product presentations, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily sales enquiries and provide timely responses to customers.
• Prepare quotations, sales reports, forecasts, and sales projection analyses.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and sales discussions.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Monitor market conditions, industry trends, competitor activities, and changing customer requirements.
• Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors, and business partners.
• Prepare drawings and other supporting documentation required for quotations and customer proposals.
• Coordinate product sourcing, purchase orders, pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered according to agreed timelines.
• Attend to product quality and technical issues and coordinate with relevant internal teams to provide appropriate solutions.
• Work with the Quality Control team to provide customers with required technical and supporting documentation.
• Participate in regular sales meetings and provide management with updates on sales activities, market developments, and customer requirements.
• Identify and develop new sales and service opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Support the preparation and participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project and service delivery.
• Achieve assigned individual sales targets.
• Travel locally or overseas for customer meetings, sales activities, and technical support when required.
• Perform other sales, technical, and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline .
• Relevant experience in technical sales, sales engineering, business development, or account management.
• Experience within the semiconductor or related engineering industry will be advantageous.
• Good technical understanding with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of 2D drawing or related technical software will be advantageous.
• Strong customer service, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented attitude.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willing to travel when required.

Preferred Experience

• 3 years or more of relevant semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• Experience handling engineering products, equipment, or technical solutions.
• Experience managing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities.
• Ability to prepare technical quotations, proposals, drawings, and presentations.
