Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage sales activities including customer prospecting, presentations, follow-ups, and closing orders.
• Address all sales inquiries effectively.
• Conduct cost comparisons and budget planning for projects, ensuring accuracy in costing.
• Liaise with customers, reviewing contracts and terms.
• Develop new markets and business opportunities.
• Implement marketing strategies and conduct market research to monitor trends and sales performance.
• Set sales targets and forecast potential projects.
• Estimate costs for products such as switchboards.
• Coordinate internal and external aspects of projects, including drawing approvals, quality checks, engineering, delivery, and commissioning.
• Manage invoicing and payment collections.
• Evaluate product capabilities to meet customer needs.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by Head of Department.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the IT infrastructure will be an advantage
• Experienced in handling sales inquiries and quotations for project sales.
• Prior sales experience in power panels, circuit breakers, and related electrical systems is a plus.
• 5.5 days work week

Our installations are reasonably priced and we have completed various projects in sectors such as data centers, commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, retail stores and residential areas. Equation is planning its target market from Singapore to the Malaysia industry. This business plan will lay out our goals and tasks to make this transition successful and create enough market share to succeed in this highly competitive market.
