Job Summary

Join a dynamic local SME freight forwarder as an Accounts Admin Officer to manage daily accounting tasks, vendor and bank reconciliations, GST returns, and support financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal process audit, identify gaps and propose process improvement to enhance efficiency while reducing cost by 30%, but not limit to the followings.
• Audit daily accounting tasks to ensure they are accurately recorded.
• Verify invoices and payments checks as part of audit process
• Check if debtor payments are promptly paid up and identify gaps for improvement.
• Reconcile vendor and bank statements to ensure financial accuracy
• Prepare and maintain detailed accounting reports for internal use
• Compile and checking GST returns if in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Checking if accounting documents are systematically kept for easy retrieval

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, to support team and stakeholder interactions
• Experience in working improvement process project proposals with proven track records
• Applied experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to manage financial transactions
• Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Office tools to enhance productivity and accuracy
• Work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining clear communication across all organizational levels
• Availability to work under contract basis, five days a week at Ang Mo Kio office
• Ready to start immediately to support business continuity
